Hello EFI Tuner friends,

I'm introducing a windows application that allows you to monitor detonation with only your knock sensor and laptop!

To use:

Simply wire up your knock sensor as a microphone to your laptop. If no mic jack is present you can buy a USB one on amazon for $6.

Then select set bore size in mm. (Tip: use half the bore size if you want to listen the upper harmonics. It's sometimes more accurate)

Then, you do your baseline pull with timing retarded - low possibility of knocking. Monitor the VU meters and observe where the sound level is at. This is your baseline, so set the threshold above above this.

Then, begin advancing timing/boost and notice that whenever the threshold is breached the knock count (in yellow) is incremented.

I've made this software to help a few in the guild of EFI tuners fb page, as they wanted a cheap knock solution. For $49 this does the trick. [/img]
