Ben will be giving an intro on what you will get for your HARD EARNED cash at the Pantera tech session. A Subaru engine dyno test is also planned.

Thursday evening July 21, 7:00 PM. The shop is somewhat " clean " now. We are ready for the big " BEN " . Lets see if he can keep the piston rings attached to the pistons when he " tunes" the ethanol burning Subee on the Dyno at high boost ?

Hi Gavin, thanks for the interest.
The attendence was extreme, this was our largest " tech " night. After the introductions and some pizza the high-point was Benn's FREE education.
What I found was that the answere Ben gave to the same question that I was asked previously was now explaind in a way that all who attended understood the concept. I do have a problem expressing my thoughts to the " layman ".
Ben, on the other hand, spoke to all with a personality that made all present important.
The Subaru engine ran perfectly. The next engine to " dyno " is also a
" Subee " with a 4" bore sleeved block. The GT-42 turbo will allow 1100 HP.
Do you believe this is possible ?

What inquiring minds want to know, is what did you think of the ECU??? Capabilities, preformance etc.

A great complement was shown when Carl Wegner attended our EFI
" Tech " meeting Thursday evening. After his teams tuned their five cars at the Nascar race, some members, including Carl, stopped by for some fun.

One highlight for them was when sparkplug wires/boots were put to a test. The extreme pressure of our sparkplug test chamber revealed how to correctly install the plug boots.

If I am ever in town, it would be great to come down and meet. Also if anyone's going to be at AMA, Grand Am or Champcar events, drop a note as we'll be there. Long Beach is going to be a blast this year with the DP's on a street course!
