Hi

I am fitting Fly-By-Wire throttle bodies to my Motec 800 and wondered if someone could advise on the pin outs for the following

Position sensor (Cable) - plug 16 on 2007 Service manual schematic

Black Wire
White Wire

Position sensor (Throttle valves) - plug 15 on 2007 Service manual schematic

Black Wire
White Wire

Throttle servo - plug 30 on 2007 Service manual schematic

Green/Red Wire
Yellow/Red Wire

I am assuming that the power feed for the position sensors are the standard 5v/0v AUX ? Please advise if this is incorrect.

Many thanks

Steve

Kraythorne

here is my opinion....

get tht information from MoTeC themselvess..

the wiring is only one prt, you will need the configuraton informaton. Lots of screw up room.
Talk wih MoTeC, since they did the jetski's, they might have all that information....

I'm still waiting for a response from MoTec I guess they must be busy??

I have the setup file which tells me which ports the DBW needs to be connected to, I just need to know which wires are which from the Throttle bodies - Cable Position Sensor, Valve Position Sensor and Servo.

Hi,

I was searching the web for some info and found your old post about wiring up Yamaha R1 DBW throttle bodies....

You mentioned that you connected AUX2 to pin 1 and AUX1 to pin 2 on the servo drive motor on throttle bodies. However when i look at a base map for this bike only AUX1 is assigned to the DBW and AUX2 is off? Shouldnt it connected to ground rather than AUX2 on the motor or is my base map incorrect?

Any help would be really appreciated.

Thanks,
