Hi Tom
I finally got my Commander 950 hooked up for the second time. The first time was about 6 years ago. We had it running as a break in on the engine. Yesterday I was able to hook up my laptop and found all the original info was still on the ECU. The only problem I had was saving the info to my laptop. I wont be starting up the engine for a few more months but I'm interested in getting your program. If I download it to my one laptop can I send it to another or should I get a CD from you instead.
Thanks Carl

Hi Carl,

You can download and install the program on both of your computers, or copy/move it from one machine to another.

Regards,

Tom

Hi Bryan,

Yes it's still available. I can email you a fully functional version for a one time $15 (US Dollars) registration fee. Once registered, you can receive free upgrades.

The easiest way to send me the registration fee is via PayPal. Just use this email address (tomzeect@netscape.net) as the payment address.

Here are the latest links:

Regards,

Tom

P.S. After downloading the demo program, please rename the extension to "exe"

Hello Tom,

Happy New Year to you and all who post here.

I finally got my engine running last week using the Commander 950 TBI EFI with Commander Pro Software. I'm ready to start using your Auto Tune program, but before I do I have questions.

When I look at the 'ENGINE STATUS' Screen in your program on my Lap-Top, the fourth gauge down on the list of Gauges is 'Narrow Band Oxygen Senor' I'm using Wide Band on my EFI.

1: Will this Gauge description automatically change to Wide-Band when I start the tuning process?

2: Or do I need to do something to change the Gauge description by upgrade the program to perform the task of tuning Wide-Band?.

Thanks, I look forward to your guidance.

Arthur

Hi Arthur,

EFI_Tuning.exe normally gets the oxygen sensor configuration directly from the ECU, so be sure to use the Holley Software to get that parameter correct.

Thanks Tom, I'll be trying out your program hopefully this weekend. I have the Holley Commander 950 Pro software on my lap-top. The ECM is updated to run Wide Band all engine parameters have been set. Looking forward to seeing what happens.

Bought a truck with a 396 engine and has a holley commander 950 mpi. The engine was no good so I put a 350 in it. It cranks and runs but it is getting way to much fuel since the injection is still programmed for the larger engine I assume. If I buy the auto tuning software talked about in this thread will it tune the injection or do I need to buy the software from holley? I got the usb programming cable but no software with the truck. Truck has one oxygen sensor in the exhaust if that helps. Thanks for any advice.

Hi,
I saw in an earlier post that your program only works with the 950 and not the 4Di. Is this still the case? If so, are you going to work on the 4Di side of things? I am thinking that your program would be fantastic for my application. If you are not, do you know of someone who will be?
Thanks,
Bob

To KeeperOfTheCode,

- your assumption regarding the 396 map being too rich for the 350 sounds plausible. If true, then this program should help.
- I would recommend getting and using the Holley software (it used to be free to download from Holley's website) so you can save the map to a file for backup purposes.

To Bob,

This program currently only works with a 950. However, If I owned (or knew someone close by who owned) a 4Di, I would seriously consider developing an app for it.

Regards,

Tom

Thanks for the reply. Developing an app is WAY out of my league ( more of a knuckle buster myself). I know some people though, so maybe we can get going on it.

I downloaded this, HEFI_1.5.0_Build_1_Setup, from Holley's website. Is it the right program. They do not give very good descriptions of the software in the download section.

Hi,

The name is different from my old copy, but it could still be the right program. Have you tried to install it? If it is the correct program, you should see the number 950 on the main window.

Tom
