Hi Everyone,

Well the time has come for us to put together another set of courses in the UK for those needing training.

We have been talking to a dyno dynamics facility that is quite near the London Heathrow airport, and they are interested in hosting the event.

The problem is that we cannot bring a demo vehicle over from the states, and the shop does not have one available.

So, we are looking for volunteers to let us use thier car for the class. If you would like to attend the course, and have a car we might be able to use, we can arrange for you to attend at no charge, in exchange for use of the vehicle.

The vehicle must have a stand-alone ECU (Motec, Autronic, Haltech,AEM, etc), and must be running and driving reliably already.

Any actual tuning done during the class can be kept by the owner, but there won't be sufficient time available for a complete tune from the ground up.

The ideal candidate would be a N/A, rear-wheel drive, manual transmission car, but we can look at other options as well.? A small turbo, or front wheel drive car would work, but an Automatic transmission will be too hard for the demo and add too much work.

If you think you have a car that might work, and would be interested in a free seat in the class, please contact Chris Cline between 9am and 5 pm monday through friday at our main office in California.?

International: 909-972-6865, or email Chris@efi101.com

Be prepared to send pics and specs on the car!

Thanks for the help!
-Ben

no that has recently been changed as they did say course full

i would watch out on that and keep an eye out for the dates to be confirmed.

Ben Strader - is there any chance of setting up a motec class (in the uk) at the same time as the other two class's Question

save me thousands of ?'s with not having to travel to your place again Wink

cheers

Yes. When I come over, I would be happy to try and generate enough interest for a Motec Course. It may be very hard to generate the needed interest though, as the course would have to happen during the middle of the week, and we have had very poor results in the past with that scenario.

The only thing stopping the trip right now though, is a lack of a demo vehicle.

Once we find one that will work, we will put up some dates.

i will try and find a suitable candidate with a standalone ecu.

Hi Guys,

Since I'd already be traveling out there anyways, I'd be willing to do the course with as little as 4 students in it. The good news is that I dont need an actual vehicle for the course, as I can use the simulator.

If the people attending the course would also be attending the EFI-101 and Advanced course, we could probably do it in just one day, so that would potentially lower the cost as well.

I have a few customers lined up for the course, putting a new Dyno in Ireland as we speak

do you fancy running a course in Ireland in the future, or Greece, or Portugal.

Actually, My wife and I were talking the other day that it would be nice to visit Ireland after the class this year. Do you think that there would be enough interest to do a class while we are there?
