|
|
Hello all, my Compaq N410c is on it's last legs and need a newer laptop capable of running XP 32bit with an SSD hard drive and decent run-time.
Memory wise 1 gig RAM and a 60 gig SSD hard drive would be more than enough.
Any recomendations?.
Cheers, Keith. |

What's up with the old ? Not just fire in an SSD into it ?
I've a small Lenovo thinkpad which is pretty decent. Not too heavy, battery is good, has good features.
Only down side is screen is a bit dark, but then it was bought second hand and was the tablet version as thought it might be handy.
If buying again I'd just buy straightforward laptop version, and prob a bigger screen. Although this one was just to keep handy in the car, not for general use.
I bought it used and replaced the hard drive with an SSD, it's on W7 though. Which so far seems to be fine, although I think there was some older ecu software I tried to use and it wouldnt work. _________________ got blown
