Has anyone experienced problems with the Powerdyne main control motherboard? I've had the dyno for a year and a few months and the board has shorted twice on us.

Since not being in the USA, downtime takes 2-3weeks which loses us alot of business.

Not too sure why this is happening. We had changed the board out 2months ago to a brand new one, but all of a sudden it stopped working again.

I've had pretty good luck with my powerdyne box. *knock on wood*

Is there a chance it could be getting any moisture in it?

Those main boards are just a board you can get off the internet, they are 1-1.2k if I remember correctly.

If you don't mind me asking, how much are they charging for the main board @ mustang?

Well mustang came back to me and told me the board had been vandilized! WTF! Time for cameras and locks on everything.

They're charging almost the same if not a couple $100 extra.

All things have been taken care of. Dyno is working perfectly. Not too sure why anyone would want to vandalize our garage, but hey I guess its a good sign that we're doing something right.

Wow, I hate to hear that.

Good to know there isn't a problem with the actual boards, I can rest easy now. Smile
