Just putting my feelers out on remote tuning.
If you offer remote tuning for your customers, what service do you use?
I've been looking into this for a little while now, but I'm not interested to spend a ton of money every month for something that I won't use all the time. What are your ideas/experiences? _________________ EFI University Instructor

The 034Motorsport ECU882C (and hopefully soon Redline and others) Tuning application supports tuning over IP without using a third party tool (such as PC anywhere ETC).
Often the user is behind a firewall so you do often have to deal with a VPN password or similar, but the responsiveness and timeliness of the remote data is quite good. |

I do quite a bit of this. I use www.teamviewer.com. FAST and some of the others I use also have this built into the system too but using a third party I can set up com ports or USB drivers... that saves me time explaining some things that I can do myself. _________________ Brian Macy

I offer remote tuning to my customers, been working out great. I enjoy it. Its nice to be able to just 'tune' them.
I'd say in time my monthly shop expenses will be covered by remote tuning revenue. _________________ http://www.dkGoodrich.com

I presume that is flash tuning or is it possibly to do even real time dyno tuning?
Or lag in data input is to big? _________________ http://www.nistune.nissan-club.hr/ |

It is free. You can pay for a commercial copy and it's worth it. _________________ Brian Macy

Most of my remote tuning is flash based. It really takes a good customer to pull it off.
Currently I have never done any real time remote dyno tuning but that's next _________________ http://www.dkGoodrich.com
