hey im new here and am in need of some standalone ecu info... by the looks of it im in the right place Very Happy

just wanted to say hi Very Happy

ooo and if anyone cares, this is my car that im putting a standalone ecu in... its a 1990 ford festiva with a 1995 ford escor gt motor and a mazda 323 gt transmission in it Very Happy all motor it has gone 15.82 @86mph in the 1/4 but it should be going faster... it still has the stock exhaust in it from the 1.3L that was in there from the factory and anything past 3500rpm the power drop is crazy Sad but when i put the turbo on it, it will get a new exhaust Very Happy



and the motor Very Happy

Damn that bitch is tight! Looking good, say what EMS are you leaning towards on that Engine?

Stick a Haltech Sprint 500 and go to town. If you need launch control then a PS1000 will do the trick.

ya i would love to get a haltech but i can find any used... its a budget build so i can go and spend 1000 bucks on a ecu... i have a thread started in the electromotive forum, maby you have the answer? check it out....

Well then perhaps try to find a used E6X and go to work. That one will also be robust for the set up you currently have.

looks like a fun little car

years ago i dropped a 2.1 turbo into something similar - ended up just over 400 hp and was a real scream to drive

i love the idea of a car that is way faster than it is supposed to be Twisted Evil
