Are you still around Lance? I've hooked up with Shane T and he said you had a coil set up that we could use for our new project.
It's a 3000hp twin turbo 540ci Chevy on methanol.
Are you interested?

Hi Andy, good to here from you.

You are in good hands with Shane, he knows how to get the most energy out of ignition systems.
The IGN-1A coil can "hold" 25 AMPS of ignition energy, feed them with large wires.
The spark plug boot needs to seal well, completely to the "steel" of the plug. (with Silicon grease)

I hope you will fit a 60-2 crankshaft Target Wheel for accuracy.

Lance

ah,you are. That is good news.
So you can supply us with coils to do the job then? Are they CNP like an LS2 coil? Have you got a picture? 25 amps? That is plenty enough to get the job done..
How much and when can you get them to Shane? Can you liase with him on the best way of wiring/setting up? or can you tell me and i'll relay it on.
We are using a 60-2 wheel and will be using Firecore custom wires.
I did send you a mail but perhaps you didn't get it.
If you mail me on redvictor1@hotmail.com then we can communicate.
btw, this is how the new car will look..

Yes Andy, Shane or his father are regular visitors at the Pantera EFI shop.

Yes, I have provided the information to Shane in the past, and will again.

The "weekend" is now, I will send your reply Monday
A this time you may visit the 034motorsport.com site for instant information about the IGN-1A coil.

Your pictured car should go into the 6.xx's.

Ah ok,so we're all set then..
I'm amazed that with the spark energy available in your coils that more high end people aren't using them.. We're also using the ID2000 injectors which Shane knows well btw.
I'll look forward to your reply on Monday.
I have looked at the coil on that site. It looks like the Yukon type coil on the outside, and no doubt they're completely different on the inside.
I'll be disappointed if the car doesn't run deep 6's,that old car of mine ran 7.4 at 197mph at 800lbs more weight and 650hp less on petrol..lol
Shane is deeply involved in the project which means we're looking good.
It would be good to have you on board also..
Have a great weekend,
ANDY.
