Hi all,
First post so consider me a n00bie and be nice Cool

I am building a 4 cylinder with 8 injectors (4*440cc and 4*550cc)
These are being run by an M800
What I need to know is for sequencial operation, assuming a firing order 1-3-4-2, how do I wire the ecu outputs

output 1 fires 440cc on cylinder 1
output 2 fires 550cc on cylinder 1
output 3 fires 440cc on cylinder 3
output 4 fires 550cc on cylinder 3
output 5 fires 440cc on cylinder 4
output 6 fires 550cc on cylinder 4
output 7 fires 440cc on cylinder 2
output 8 fires 550cc on cylinder 2

or

output 1 fires 440cc on cylinder 1
output 2 fires 440cc on cylinder 3
output 3 fires 440cc on cylinder 4
output 4 fires 440cc on cylinder 2
output 5 fires 550cc on cylinder 1
output 6 fires 550cc on cylinder 3
output 7 fires 550cc on cylinder 4
output 8 fires 550cc on cylinder 2

I'm erring with the first configuration

note: this isn't a hi-lo setup per-say as at full throttle I need them all to be injecting, and at low load only the 440's will be injecting.

Any assistance will be great.

Good looking forum btw, lots of useful info, I'm sure I will be firing more questions at you all soon Cool Thanks

Set up the secondary injection in the Motec ECU manager.

Save the config, exit out of the software and go back into it again. This is because there is a small bug which stops the injector use being shown in the injection output functions being shown correctly.

Go back into the software and load your saved config.

Go into the injector output functions menu and it will show you which injector goes where.

For this all to work you need to have the firing order of the engine entered into your config.

BTW>it is not the first option you gave.

Awesome FraserGT Cool
I was sure the software should calculate the outputs for me. Darn if I only knew to close the program all would have been good.

Thanks muchly from downunder Very Happy

BTW I have Australian contacts at Motec with great prices if anyone needs anything, just ask, I will freight forward at a discount rate.
