hey ya,
I just recenlty purchase an Apexi Power FC for my 97 mitsu eclipse gsx from Adrenaline Motosport in Missouri, i'm not sure if any of you heard of them, but anyway, does any one know how to tune it, comparision to AEM ecu and any other ecu, also can any, i mean any, ecu be programable for 3 different kinds of ride, econimic ride, sport ride, and race ride, these are maps i believe....
Let me know thanks....
Don't refer be back to dsm link, although its a good system but its only piggy back, and doesn't do as well as a after market ecu.
Thanks..... |

You should get a FC Datalogit, otherwise the PFC system is useless. The PFC works very well when you have access to all of the proper maps and settings via the FC Datalogit. I believe that some shops have access to Apexi's pro software, but for us mere mortals it isn't available.
You shouldn't need an economy or sport mapping. If the car is mapped at all load and RPM points, then it should run economically as well as being powerful when called upon all with the same map.
And for the record, DSM Link isn't a piggyback. It is editing the values contained within the factory ECU. |
