|
|
Guys,
I have a question about the E6K injection time, is it in ms?
Reason for me asking is at the EFI101 I was told that a quick and easy way of getting your desired AFR was to use the following equation:
Have(AFR) / Want(AFR) = Injection Time (ms)
Now say I have an AFR of 12.3~ and I want an AFR of 11.5 using the equation above i'll have to input 1.07 into the particular cell, correct? However the values I have in my E6K cells are significantly higher than this so obviously if I use 1.07 i'll go lean.
Can some please clear this up for me. _________________ Regards,

I think you wil find (Have/Want)*100 equals percentage change requirement.

Yes, the Haltech reads in mS and Buzzards advice gets you on the right track though the simple math discounts some variables. I have a spread sheet with this calculation built in if you'd like to download it. It's a works spreadsheet format but can be opened with excel too.
