When you complete EFI-101 you get a certification, but what about the Advanced course? Will you get it at the end of the course? Or do you have to test for it?

| Thats correct. You get a certificate for attending the 101 and Advanced classes. The actual Engine Tuner's Certification is only obtainable after taking the test (after the 20 hours or the ACP course). |

so in all, after the test and 20 hours of dyno time, you get 3 certifications? nice...
How does the test work? Do you have to take it there at the facility? And also how does the 20 hours of dyno time work exactly? |

More accurately EFI 101 and advanced you earn a certificate of completion.
The ACP program or 101/advanced + 20 hours and succesful completion of the test="Certified High Performance Tuner"
That is my understanding. Also after completing the ACP program you will only recieve one certificate stating that you are a cerified "High Performance Tuner" |

Yes that's correct.

You would get 2 "certificates of completion" for completing the 101 and Advanced classes, but you only get the certification (certifying you as a High Performance EFI Tuner) after the test.
The 20 hours and the test work like this: In the Advanced class you get a log book that you go through the class modules with. There is extra space in the book that will have been left blank to record dyno time on your own. After the class you are supposed to go out and get hands on tuning dyno experience. After logging 20 hours of dyno time you send the book back to EFI U. and you get a link to take the test online. If you successfully pass the test you get your certification.
It's different with the ACP class as the dyno time is included in the class. On the last day (Friday) you take the test in the class, and if you pass you get your certification.

Does your university provide any study-guide's to pass this test or is it not needed after 20 hours of dyno time?  |

There aren't any study guides, but you shouldn't need one  . As long as you understand the material you should be ok. You could study your 101 book if you wanted. |
