I've a project underway to restore a '79 Lotus Esprit with updates including engine management by way of Sprint 500. It has occurred that the tach signal output may be short of the power needed to drive the OEM Smiths tach. I figure someone here might know of a solution. Anyone?

set the pull up to 12v and it will work fine
