When you power up your dyno ( i.e first thing in the morning? ) does the brake automatically turn on for 25-30 seconds?

If so, does this affect the operation of your brake when using the dyno?

Also can owners of a 4wd dos dyno open the front and rear covers and look in the pit boxes and tell me if any of the LED's are lit on the board? This would only take 10 minutes to do and would be a massive help to me.

Do the retarders only "hum" when the PC is booting up? Does the humming stop when you open the dyno software?

Yes, they hum for 30 seconds, this is not affected if the pc is booting up or not. My old 2wd dyno did it occasionally as well.

Is it a 30 second time out for the Brake when you drive a car off normally?

Yes, seems to stay on for a similar amount of time as when you press the brake button. My brake also applies itself as soon as the wheels stop turning on a car.

Any ideas Todd?
