how often do yall actually use your dyno.
i have been wanting to get one for the longest time. i just landed this new job as fleet manager with the city. its 50k a year, m-f 8-5. i cant see myself giving it up.
if i do end up buying a used dyno, something single wheels, used, maybe around 15-20k. does it seem profitable the only be able to use it friday, sat and sunday?
i dunno, just trying to still consider the idea _________________ eCtune/Demon user |

| Most of the dyno customers have a M-F 9-5 job anyway to afford the hotrod. So then you will have the nights and weekends to work second job.. As long as no noise issues at the location. |

Depends how you look at the dyno. As a toy, or a tool ?
Would you hesitate in spending 15-20k into your car and only use it a few days a week ?
I know it isnt the same thing as there are other costs involved. But if you have the room and dont need to operate commercially. Then just see it as a toy for yourself to use which may also be able to generate some income. _________________ LS1, V7 YSi

I use mine every day. Best investment I have ever made.
I know if I only used my dyno during the weekend, it would still be worth it. My weekends are my busiest times. I could easily make 50k a year just tuning cars during the weekend only. Mine makes $1-2k a weekend.
I payed cash for mine brand new using my street tuning money. I doubled my dyno investment in less than 6 months.
Id laugh at someone wanting to give me 50k a year for 40hrs of my life a week.
Now if your one of those [doubt you are] who thinks they are going to make a killing selling 3 pulls at a time, you'l lose your ass off on it, just like most of the dyno owners around me. As you probably know, dynos are for tuning, not numbers. _________________ http://www.dkGoodrich.com
