Fast to release a new update....
Tom
Advanced Forced Induction, Power Adder
& Race Controls
The advanced forced induction, power adder and race controls
include two separate, fully programmable sequential rev limiters
for staging or boost building with six options for activation, four
priority assignments and a user selectable sequential or random
mode of rev limiting.
• Forced Induction Controls include: time based boost controller,
user selectable fixed VE and/or fixed timing for boost building
and staging repeatability
• Progressive Power Adder Controls include: configurations for
both wet or dry applications, separate tables for power adder
solenoid control and fuel control for perfect dry power adder
tuning, user adjustable solenoid pulse frequency for optimum
solenoid controllability, choice of fixed target air/fuel or standard
air/fuel table for correction and a dry power adder fuel delay in
milliseconds for correcting rich spikes on activation
• Internal Data Logging Controls include: separate arming
input option
• Intelligent Traction Control™ includes: user adjustable delay
to ignore erroneous starting line activation data and separate
output wire activation upon ITC triggering
Self Learning Auto Tuning VE Table*
The Self Learning Auto Tuning VE Table is a new automated
process option that makes for quick and easy fuel mapping with
the XFI 2.0™. However, this option can be turned off should the
user prefer to do the tuning manually. The self learning mode can
also be used to speedily and accurately populate a base tune and
then turned off for more fine tuning or custom control by the user
– it’s all up to you when and how you want to use it. The C-Com®
software features enable conditions to turn it on/off automatically
and also has an overall enable/disable feature.
*XFI 2.0™ C-Com® software requires suitable PC computer for use
User Adjustable Battery Voltage Injector Opening
Correction Table
Fixed Timing “TEST” Mode: easy verification of ignition
timing accuracy
Spark vs. Coolant Temp Offset Table
User Configurable Target Air Fuel Offset Table vs.
Coolant Temp Table: more accurate warm-up enrichment
User Selectable Safety Feature: deactivates all power
adder features in event of fault code

I have been testing some of these new options and its well worthe the upgrade.
THe battery correction table itself makes it worthwhile especially for people with big voltage draws (high current fans,etc....) _________________ F.A.S.T Tuner

The upgrade is going to cost $50 for just the firmware that will be a self reflash or $100 if you want to have the new XFI 2.0 enclosure and firmware. Although not in writing, if you have bought your XFI after dec 2009 they will give you the firmware for free.
You can thank Ben and me for the battery correction table, we talked with FAST a bunch about this during our trip to Memphis. This table has been needed for a long time. _________________ Brian Macy

The only difference is the XFI 2.0 writing that is on front. _________________ Brian Macy

Cal and I have been on Lance's ass to do this since we got our boxes in 05.
Cal actually asked for this in the original design of the XFI _________________ F.A.S.T Tuner

Sometimes you have to go through the front door and not the back one. We had a Q&A session with the tech support guys and they have been getting a bunch of questions on injector dead times. So we explained to them what it was and how it worked, also why they needed access to the table in the ECU. Then we worked on how the table should look. Something needed for a long time. _________________ Brian Macy

Brian,
Thanks for the update. Any idea when this is to be released? Good to have that injector voltage correction table, seems like a lot of the competition has it. Any adjustable dwell settings yet? Also do you know what has changed in terms of diagnostics, did they add selectable set points for the CEL or anything?

I am not sure on the diag stuff, the beta copy I have does not have alot of stuff that is going in.
I think it will be available after PRI this weekend or at least what they are shooting for. I should have a close to finished or finished copy tomorrow I think. I can better answer your question after that.
The dwell time is something that has been talked about but you won't see it in this software update. It will be a xim update. _________________ Brian Macy

Hello Brian,
Any more news of when this update will be released. I have looked on the Fast website and cannot find any links to downloading just the software
Thanks

Latest target date as of yesterday is the end of Jan. They are finishing up a few minor things along with the auto tune. _________________ Brian Macy
