I mapped a car using MAP as load, and wanted to see if it might improve using TPS as load. I've changed the setting in the main, but in the fuel map the pointer never moves unless it's at wot, which it then skips all the points in between 0% and 100%. At every other throttle position the pointer never moves. The throttle percentage moves good and linear it viewed in the data page. Any ideas?

In the engine data page it reads normally, but in the mapping window it is either 0 or 100%. Despite my best efforts the car has some small issues here and there, and I thought this particular car (200 whp 1.8 na vw engine) might respond better using tps as load. I have mapped many cars with great driveability and power across many platforms, but this one is a bear! hehe

Any other thoughts on this? I have one more week left with this particular car, and would love to see if I can have better results with the TPS!! Thanks

I used on a bike E6x and TPS load sensing and worked for me.
Try to reinstall the program or make a map from zero again, it should work.

I'll try. Should I expect the pointer to moves across the screen even if the car is not running say @ 0 or 500 rpm using the throttle?

Yes the pointer must move with the TPS opening even if the engine is not running.

Well I first saved the map (using tps) and then re-installed the program. I'm not sure if it was the saving/opening of the map, or the re-install, but it works now. Thanks for all the help guys. I'll keep you posted on how the tune goes hopefully I can get rid of this light load bucking..Seems no matter what combination of timing/fuel it was still there when I used map as load.
