Hi Guys,

I’ve just got a race bike with a Motec M800 ECU on it. I went to upload a copy of the map from it but the ECU firmware is at V3.42 but unfortunately the latest ECU manager is at V3.52.

I don’t want to update the ECU firmware yet to the latest version in till I have a copy of the map first in case something goes wrong, so what I need is the install program for ECU manager V3.42, upload the map from the ECU so I then have a copy on the laptop in case of problems later on, then update the firmware on the ECU and start using the latest version software.

I know motec don’t make this old version available anymore on the website as there’s been past problems with this software, but is it possible for someone to email it through to me just so I can get a copy of the map off the ECU first.

Luke, you do know you can "convert" your old map to the new software version in ECU Manager don't you?

File>Convert Old Files

As posted in the other thread if you need any old versions I have most of them here and would be happy to e-mail them.

Anyway, I've found a 3.41 G2 which works with 3.42 firmware. If anyone needs it feel free to PM me.
