Hi John, I don't see anything above 21 and that is only background noise.
If i reset the peak hold and go from 1st to 5th the meter never goes much above 15.
I shall sort out the Inj table for you and post it up |

To do the job properly you will need to clean up the fuel map. To do this the WB will be used. Even if the fuel does not change significantly information is your friend.
I would go 4deg for a first up change. Nothing like a significant change to see a difference. Make sure you do a base run first.
I have played with the 2nd gen 3SGTE and am stuffing around with a 2AZFE (no results yet). We also run a few RB Nissans and other multi valve late model engines.
Most of my time has been with the old A-series BMC engine. I have a Mini for a race car. I have also stuffed around with other dinosour bone enignes like the Ford kent and Rover V8. _________________ don't mind me, i always need help |

John, i run a st185 engine so readings will differ for sure.
Have you got a copy of your Ign table?
I only have the hand controller to copy the values down to a excel spread sheet, so it takes a while! |

Hi, Question regarding my PFC.
was out on a drive earlier when i was cruising down the road and i noticed the check engine light come on and stay on!?
Knock readings were no higher than 23, Hadn't hit the rev limiter, F/Inj Duty was low...
any ideas?
the car has been what feels like missing a little every now and again, on light throttle settings only...
TIA |

From memory there are up three channels that you can set up in the software to trigger the warning light.
Each item can also can have the trigger level set. _________________ R32 GTR Nissan Skyline Race Car+ twin HKS 3037S

Betsy your GT4 is an ST205 is this correct.
If so does it have the Broad Band Inlet Manifold (2 inlet runner paths per cylinder) as they do on the ST185.
If so would be interesting to alter the change over point at which these inlet tract butterflies open for extra air.
But i dont think the PFC will let you alter this.
The operation of these butterflies effects the engines torque and overall horsepower.
So changing switch point is another way of altering the engines charactoristics, if you didnt want to play with cam gears.
I have built a 3sgte for a customers ST185 GT FOUR.
I actually removed these butterflies completely.
But this engine was an all out power exercise.
Full forged internals, modified cylinder head, camshafts, custom inlet plenum,80mm throttle body,GT35R GARRETT, blah blah blah.
These are fantastic little engines. |

i suggest you take it back to Charlie at Surrey Rolling Road and book some dyno time, that way you can tune the car properly
Charlie knows how to tune and will help you achieve the end result |

Hey guys just an update.
visited Charlie @ srr with my tuner and had a play with the exhaust cam but it turned out to be a waste of time, only lost power by advancing the exhaust cam so i settled for 2' Advance only.
The Power FC worked very well as usual and i achieved 377.8 FW BHP at 1.4 Bar, 299 @ The Wheels.
leaned it out a bit and tweaked the boost a tad.
happy with the results and i think thats as far as i can go with the current cams, injectors etc |
