Guys,

need your help,

the problem is the engine speed reading in my ADL2 shown 6000 rpm but actually engine wasn't running yet. In the ECU manager, it shown 0 rpm which is correct since engine not running.

then, when we start the engine, the engine speed also give a different value. Take for example,

In ECU manager 1200 rpm (which is correct)
In Dash manager 3800 rpm.

anyone of you experienced this before?
Is it something to do with CAN bus comms between ecu and adl2?

but FYI, the data reading for fuel APW, TPOS, air inlet temp and others are correct.

Thanks Wink

What version of the software on the ADL2 and the M880?

Under the ADL2 manager. Under the Communication setup > Advanced > Received Channel.

What do you have for;

Default Value
Offset
Multiplier
Length
Divisor?

Defaul value: 0
offset: 156
multiplier: 1
bit mask: FFFF
length: 2
divisor: 1
adder: 0

dash manager: 4.42D3
ecu manager: 3.41G2

is there any change required?

make sure you are using the matching data sets. (set 1 in the ECU and M800(V3.3+) set 1

RPM is normally the first channel, so should be

default 0
offset 0
multiplier 1
length 2
divisor 6
adder 0
bitmask ffff
