Hello everyone,

I am new to the forum, and know nothing really about ECU and EFI except that it controls the various functions of of the engine and vehicle. Embarassed

I have involved myself in an effort to build HHO generators (electrolyzers) and have built several and installed 2 cells on my wife's 99 F-150. (4.2 V6)

One of the problems with hydrogen generators on late model vehicles, particularily those with OBDII is that the system compensates for the lower exhaust temp and cleaner burn by making the mixture richer, thus offsetting the mileage gains, (and ensuring the oil companies revenues).

I have done several mechanical tweaks to bypass the OBDII as much as I could, such as adding air behind the MAF sensor, and wrapping the exhaust sensors (4) with foil to keep the readings higher, which has allowed me to increase the mpg from 16 to 21.27 with HP gains of about 20-25%, but I am looking for a system that will allow me to set the ratios the way I want them.

I would appreciate any help you could give me in this area.
David
