He has worked in many different levels and disciplines of automotive racing. Ben is always up for any kind of adventure when he is away from work weather it includes land, sea, or air! |
Operations Manager | Chris Cline has been the operations manager at EFI University for over five years. He has been in retail management most of his career, but EFI University has been a refreshing change. As the Operations Manager he manages all the day to day affairs of the business, and provides logistic support for all the instructors to make sure the tools, equipment, and materials are in place for a sucessful seminar providing a fun and exciting environment for students to learn all the aspects of electronic fuel injection. When not working (When does that happen?), Chris enjoys spending time with his wife Teresa, wine taisting in the "Temecula Wine Country" and the occasional round of golf. |
ACP Instructor | Seth Francis lives in the Fort Worth area in Texas with his fiance and runs a dyno testing and tuning shop. About once a month when he isnt traveling to teach one of the EFI University courses around the world he comes to our main facility in Temecula, California to teach the ACP course. When he isnt working he enjoys all venues of auto racing, the outdoors and several other sporting activities. |
East Coast Instructor | Geoffrey Ring comes to us with years of engine management and tuning experience. His experience began in 1987 and has experience with various aftermarket ECUs but currently specializes in MoTeC. He is currently working with Porsche, BMW club racers, and Grand Am Cup race teams assisting them with engine tuning, and data acquisition. He continues to provide engine development consulting support and designed, built, and races a Porsche 964 racecar with much success. His projects have been featured in magazines both in the US as well as England. He is a PCA Technical Scrutineer for PCA club racing and is the chief driving instructor for his local PCA club. When not working, he spends time with his wife rock climbing, kayaking, and mountain biking in the Shawangunks mountains near his home in NY and he most recently completed his Private Pilot Certification and owns a Cessna 182P model airplane. | International Instructor | Matt Wright lives in Sydney, Australia. He brings with him experience gained from his job heading up the techincal support department at Haltech. Matt also has a degree in mechanical engineering. His practical and hands on experience in tuning and troubleshooting complex engine configurations along with his thorough understanding of the theory behind both engines and computer systems allows him to approach any problem in a scientific methodical way. Matt feels that EFI University is the best place to dispell the myths in the automotive industry that engine management and tuning is a "black art". He also enjoys enjoys learning and sharing his experiences with others. When he is not working Matt enjoys spending time with his wife camping (RVs are not camping by the way), hiking and rock climbing. One day Matt and his wife plan to climb Everest. |
West Coast Instructor | Brian Macy currently lives in beautiful Lake Havasu Arizona. He has spent most of his career in the Pacific Northwest working on everything from 1000+ horsepower drag cars to daily driver Hondas. He specializes in domestic show cars, drag race cars both turbo and supercharged. He brings with him a background in engineering, machining/welding and ECU wiring. Brian is the owner of Horsepower Connection and Fast Track Performance. When not working, Brian drag races his turbocharged Nova, enjoys boating in Lake Havasu and car shows. | East Coast Instructor | Chris Harris is a self-taught (and EFI University educated) Honda/Acura specialist that came up through the grassroots development of “hacking” or reverse engineering the stock Honda ECUs. He loved learning how the motor works and more importantly how its controlled by the ECU and basically ended up falling into Tuning first as a hobby, and then as his full time business as demand for my services grew. Since taking his first EFI101 class back in 2003, Chris has lost count on how many cars he has tuned, he has spent countless hours on others’ and his Dyno Dynamics chassis dyno and another lifetime learning and tuning at the track with his own cars, customers and friends. A lot of his focus over the years has been on teaching and educating others on the joys of tuning, sharing information with the internet masses on how to get the most out of their own setups (or getting into tuning others) so the natural course was to join with EFI University and broaden his ability to do that and help more people (while keeping it fun). |
