Founder/Senior Instructor	As the founder and senior instructor of EFI University, Ben Strader manages the quality and flow of information that is taught in the EFI-101 and EFI Advanced classes. He is a specialist in the theory and operation of the internal combustion engine and its related systems including electronic engine management. Ben has over 8 years of experience tuning and troubleshooting EFI systems, and has recently written the book "How to Build and Tune Custom EFI Systems" for CarTech. He has worked in many different levels and disciplines of automotive racing. With a highly analytical mind and unrivaled determination, Ben enjoys searching for solutions for even the most challenging obstacles. An avid skydiver with over 700 jumps, a Commercial Pilot and FAA Certified Flight Instructor, Ben is always up for any kind of adventure when he is away from work!
East Coast Instructor	Geoffrey Ring comes to us with years of engine management and tuning experience. He has experience with various aftermarket ECUs and specializes in MoTeC. He is currently working with Porsche and BMW club racers and Grand Am Cup race teams assisting them with engine tuning, and data acquisition. When not working, he spends time with his wife rock climbing, kayaking, and mountain biking in the Shawangunks mountains near his home in NY, oh, and maybe a little track driving.
West Coast Instructor	Matt Wright lives in southern california although he originally comes from Australia. He brings with him experience gained from his job heading up the techincal support department at Haltech. Matt also has a degree in mechanical engineering. His practical and hands on experience in tuning and troubleshooting complex engine configurations along with his thorough understanding of the theory behind both engines and computer systems allows him to approach any problem in a scientific methodical way. Matt feels that EFI University is the best place to dispell the myths in the automotive industry that engine management and tuning is a "black art". He also enjoys enjoys learning and sharing his experiences with others. When he is not working Matt enjoys spending time with his wife camping (RVs are not camping by the way), hiking and rock climbing. One day Matt and his wife plan to climb Everest.
Instructor	Chris Macellaro lives in Arlington, Texas. He has worked in the automotive field for over 14 years. He is ASE certified, specializing in electrical systems and computerized diagnostics. Chris has a wealth of knowledge of various OEM and standalone systems as well as several different piggy-back controllers. Chris feels that EFI University is the best place to share his love and passion for electronic fuel injection with people all over the country. He enjoys learning and sharing his experiences with others. When he is not working, Chris enjoys spending time with his family.
Operations Manager	Chris Cline brings with him over 10 years of operations experience. He has been in retail management most of his career, but EFI University is a refreshing change. As the Operations Manager he manages all the day to day affairs of the business, and provides logistic support for all the instructors to make sure the tools, equipment, and materials are in place for a sucessful seminar providing a fun and exciting environment for students to learn all the aspects of electronic fuel injection. When not working, Chris enjoys spending time with his wife Teresa and son Travis, and the occasional round of golf.
